Kitchen Planning - Design and Installation Kitchen planning is
one of most important steps of buying a new kitchen. The shape, size and layout are of course vital to the planning
process but so is understanding how often the kitchen will be used and what for.
Do you want a fitted kitchen or something that's freestanding? Both do of course
have their advantages and dissadvantages. A fitted kitchen designed to your specification will make better use of
the space and difficult corners or areas can be used for storage or simply hidden.

Planning your kitchen storage so that you have a place for everything keeps
clutter down to a minimum and allows for a more harmonious place to be in. Plan how much storage you need for
things like groceries, cutlery and crockery.
Who will use your kitchen?
If you're a single person, do you eat out a lot or would you want to use your
kitchen to entertain? Your kitchen must be planned to allow you to get the most out of your lifestyle now and into
the future. Family type kitchens have different requirements and these can be catered for and planned and designed
accordingly.
In a small kitchen it is obvious that a large seating area is out of the
question, but a small breakfast table might just fit in. In a big kitchen, the seating area will take a big part of
the space. Decide which part of the kitchen area you want to commit to seating and work your kitchen around it.
There are a lot of handy storage solutions to maximize your space.
